The traces of human presence over time can be recorded in different ways. From a very literal example, such as writing, to a more abstract expression that helps us, as present beings, distinguish the distance between one moment and another. In the following photographs, I represent the presence of time and humans in the urban environment and how different elements help us understand the imprint left on buildings. I chose locations that evoke a feeling of loneliness and abandonment because these are the places where it is most likely to find elements that help us understand the imprint that human beings leave on the environment and how, although they may be insignificant, these persist for days, weeks, and even years in space.
